The world famous Turkish photographer İzzet Keribar, a member of the jury, used the following sentences about the contest; “I was delighted to be a jury member of the International Capture the Light of Ramadan Photography Contest, which is organized for the second time this year by the NUN Education and Culture Foundation. The competition was divided into 3 groups as Primary, Middle and High School. Therefore, among these students with significant age differences, normally the most striking photos were expected to come from high school students. However, in all 3 groups, I came across great pictures of almost equal quality from all over the world. And I had to eliminate some, unwillingly. I can give the following advice to young people: Photography will be your best friend throughout your life. Please try to continue to do photography you have started. In my 70-year photography adventure, photography both enlivened my life and gave me very important friendships.”
