Rafadan Tayfa Crew Explains: How to make a cartoon?
Like every child, we are curious: Who makes these cartoons and how they do that. We invited the director Ismail Fidan, and general coordinator Nuri Sema Can of loved cartoons “Rafadan Tayfa” to our primary school and learnt everything we wondered about cartoons from the experts.

At the last Friday of every month, we conduct NUN Meetings and this month we asked “How to make a cartoon?” to our guests İsmail Fidan and Nuri Sema Can. They made an exciting presentation based on the final and not broadcasted episode of “Rafadan Tayfa” from TRT Çocuk. They started by explaining the details of writing a script and showed step by step how to turn that into a cartoon; it was a great experience for our students to see storyboard samples, watch dubbing and technique of animation.
After the presentation, our guests called Levent Kol, who dubs our students’ favorite character Hayri in the cartoon. Our kindergarten and first grade students attended the first session and they thought they were actually talking to Hayri; they had so much fun. After the phone call, our guests answered our students’ questions and invited us to their studios in Ankara.
