Our Students Met İyilikhane Child Association

As part of the first NUN meetings of the 2018-2019 academic year, we met with the representatives from İyilikhane Child Association at our primary school. Within the scope of this meeting, we had a very entertaining conversation on goodness.
The second, third and fourth class students participated in the event and learned how tiny favours can grow make hundreds of children smile. Our students got involved in the conversation by expressing their thoughts while listening to the journey of these university students who started the activities of the association by selling their brackets in 2011.
The event took place in a very pleasant environment with the aim of helping our children learn the spirit of helping and how little efforts are transformed into great and lasting supports. After the conversation, our guests and our third grade students put into practice the “goodness forest” at the school yard where they had an opportunity to speak about their ideas of goodness and helping others. Within the scope of this activity, Our students have written down their goodness dreams on an apple shaped papers and put them on the trees they painted to create a forest full of goodness.
