Our Students Got Together With Our Parents For “NUN Business Visits” Programme.
As NUN Schools, we guide our students' career planning starting from the beginning of high school. The "NUN Business Visits" program is a part of the career planning process in which our students come together with our parents in related professions.
The program was organized to encourage our students to learn more about professions and discover real-life working environments. It aimed for our students to gain perspective on professions by hearing firsthand experiences from parents.
The program took place at the workplaces of parents from different sectors. Students were accompanied by parents for their daytime visits and had the opportunity to explore the practical aspects of their professions. This experience allowed students to closely observe the dynamics of business life, daily routines, and professional skills.
During the program, students learned about essential competencies such as skills required by professions, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. In addition, they had the opportunity to observe and take part in projects and experience the practice of professions.
They asked questions about the professions and discussed the issues in mind with the parents who are competent in their field. This interactive session allowed students to learn more about the professions and helped them make more informed decisions about future career choices.
The program aimed at enabling students to combine theoretical knowledge with real-world experiences and better understand the practical aspects of professions. At the same time, by actively participating, parents supported the educational process opening the doors to their workplaces and students' future career goals.
