NUN SCHOOLS CAME TOGETHER FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

NUN Schools started to the education life with the NUN Primary School, which was founded by the NUN Foundation for Education and Culture in Altunizade in 2014 with 9 administrative staff, 24 teachers and 50 students. Currently, it continues its educational activities with 741 students and 212 academic staff. NUN Schools, of which approximately fifty percent of its students are on scholarship, continues to work enthusiastically with all its academic and administrative staff in order to contribute to humanity and to transfer the knowledge obtained from these lands first to our people and then to all humanity with a new language, style and method in accordance with the requirements of the age..

NUN Family, which started to work for the 2021-2022 academic year with this excitement, came together at a breakfast program attended by all its employees. The program took place in a warm environment and continued with the orientation program for new teachers. The orientation program started with the keynote speech of Fatih Nida Üye, Founding Representative of NUN Schools. Stating that the main purpose of NUN Schools is to contribute to humanity, Üye stated that they want to raise a human profile that is nourished by their own roots and ancient culture which tries to understand the era and geography in which they live. NUN Schools, which set out with this aim, continued their preparations for the new term all day long, with the participation of both new and existing teachers, in order to achieve the target of “teaching and learning teacher”. The departments started to work with great excitement on what should be done in the new term curriculum. Urban transformation, global warming, natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, forest fires and recycling, which are the problems of all humanity today, were discussed by focusing on producing solutions in the curriculum of the relevant courses. The first day of NUN, attended by all academic and administrative staff, was filled with excitement with new term studies, department meetings, and discussions for the adoption of new ideas.

After the first day at NUN, teachers started a comprehensive orientation program that will last for 3 weeks. In this program, experienced NUN teachers will receive the necessary training that each branch can benefit from in their own field. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to discuss together the topics that will make a difference in the new period, the educational tools that will be used to teach these topics to students, and the connection of these topics with different branches.
