Kudüslü Ömer Children's Book - İlknur Koç Aytaç
Why is al-Quds important for us Muslims? What happened in its history? Why is it under occupation today? Why are the Jews persecuting us? Why are they killing us? Why are they taking away our homes? Why are they building walls around us? Within the scope of the religious studies course, our students read the book "Kudüslü Ömer" (Omar From al-Quds). They held an online meeting with the author of the book İlknur Aytaç Koç.
This event contributed to our students becoming more aware of historical and cultural issues. It also helped shape them as critical thinkers who embrace diverse viewpoints and are open to criticism.
