The Enigma of Evil and Theodicy - Ayşe Hilal Akın
Guided by our esteemed teacher, Ayşe Hilal Akın, who holds a doctorate in Philosophy of Religion, our 11th-grade students embarked on a profound exploration of the topic "The Problem of Evil and Theodicy" within the unit "Issues Related to Faith" in their Philosophy class. In this course, our students delved into the depths of the "Problem of Evil", which is one of the fundamental questions that arise with the existence of the universe. They also gained a deeper understanding of the theological aspect of this problem.
Through this lesson, our students not only gained academic knowledge, but also developed their critical thinking, philosophical inquiry, and intercultural understanding skills. This event holds a big step towards engaging in meaningful discourse on issues of religion and ethics.
