The Hagia Sophia Mosque And Istanbul Archaeology Museum Trip
NUN High School 9th grade female students and NUN High School Social Sciences Department teachers visited the Hagia Sophia Mosque and the Archeology Museum. Within the scope of this trip, students first visited the Hagia Sophia Mosque, which has a very important place in the history of world architecture and has been one of the most significant places of worship for centuries. Students understood why the Hagia Sophia Mosque was one of the most valuable symbols of the conquest and how extensive the Ottoman tolerance for different cultures, religions and art was. They visited the Istanbul Archeology Museum, which is one of the largest museums in the world and sheds light on history with more than a million artifacts from various cultures, questioning the relations between civilizations and communicating with other cultures.
