Islamıc Hıstory Readıngs 3 - Mercy And Invıtatıon From The Mıddle Ages To All Tımes

Assoc. Prof. Nihal Şahin Utku, who carries out her studies at Marmara University Faculty of Theology, Department of Islamic History, shared her deep experiences with our parents by discussing the subject of "Mercy and Invitation from the Middle Ages to All Times" in our program held this month. She mentioned that Muslims, who revealed a rich history with the contemplation of religion and deep-rooted disciplines, have been the pioneer of humanity and the bright face of the world for about seven centuries, from the 7th century to the Renaissance. Assoc. Prof. Utku expressed that while the West was experiencing Dark Ages under the grip of epidemics and superstitions during the Middle Ages, Muslim scholars, whose holy book was the Quran where the first command was "Read", brought the Islamic world to its Golden Age under the guidance of reason and science.
