Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Project Presentations
NÛN Schools Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is a science and application center established with a multidisciplinary approach to support students with projects on innovation, research and development, technology, entrepreneurship/social entrepreneurship, social sciences, and universal human issues. Our center has issued a call for project proposals to support the social development of our students and increase their active participation in life.
In line with this aim, our center closely follows up on students' projects by organizing various events. Information presentations about the processes of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center were organized for high school and middle school (7th and 8th grade) students in the conference halls. Examples of social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and social innovation were presented in the presentations, and students' questions were answered. These events were organized to inspire students and encourage them to develop projects.
Students applied with projects aimed at solving the 17 universal problems identified within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A total of 32 project teams and approximately 120 students were interviewed individually to contribute to their project development. During this process, students received valuable feedback on how to make their projects more effective and sustainable.
In total, 21 project teams had gained the right to operate within the center. So far, 16 of these projects have successfully completed their processes. These successes were achieved thanks to the determination and creativity of the students and showed that the center is making significant strides in achieving its purpose.
The skills gained by the students include innovative thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, sustainability awareness, and social responsibility. These gains pave the way for them to take on important roles in society as social entrepreneurs and innovation leaders in the future.
