Sourdough Bread Making Parent Workshop

Bread has a place in our culture. As NUN Schools, we held a sourdough workshop with our primary school parents. We discussed the details of bread and sourdough and made delicious loaves of bread.

In the workshop, we learned the key points of bread making, talked about GMOs, sourdough and its benefits, and atalık buğday (local wheat). After teaching the "slap and fold method" to our parents so that gluten can be released, an explanation of the cold fermentation and cooking stages was given.
