WE WON THE FIRST PLACE IN THE WORLD!

WE WON THE FIRST PLACE IN THE WORLD!

Our Astronomy studies, which NUN Middle School started this year and carried out in harmony with our course made us proud once again.

We applied with the works of thirty-nine students to the international painting competition organized by NASA and consisting of five different themes. In the competition where thirty-three countries and seven hundred works participated, Efe and Hasan, our 6-D students, became the world champions in the "rocket” and "astronaut” categories, respectively, and left all the competitors behind.

It has also been a source of pride and happiness for us that both of our students are among the students to whom we have been presented with the title and badge of "Astronun" due to their interest and attitude towards astronomy.

These works of our students are exhibited in the Astronaut Crew Rooms located at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where the astronauts are quarantined before being launched into space.

We would like to thank our Astronomy teacher for his support in opening the horizons of our students regarding Astronomy, our Middle School Science Department and Visual Arts Department for taking care of our students' work and accompanying them.
