How To Overcome Trauma - Dr. Mehmet Dinç
Within the scope of Beyond Education Talks, Dr. Mehmet Dinç gave a speech titled “How to Overcome Trauma”.
He gave advice on how to carry the heavy burden of the earthquake disaster that we have experienced as a nation and to heal the wounds of our earthquake victims.
Indicating how to be good for ourselves, our family and environment in such times and how the process should be managed, Dinç drew attention to what we should pay attention to about our emotions in difficult times. Explaining the attitude we will take in the face of the earthquake with the concept of “resilience”, Dinç underlined that we should be sincere towards earthquake victims. He mentioned the need for us to be united after the disaster and to recover together. The program was very beneficial for the participants to draw a road map to overcome hardships and secondary trauma.
