Blind Date With A Book

In our school's preparatory classes, the "Blind Date with a Book" event initialized the 1 Book 1 Week project. The event aims to improve students' reading habits and allow them to experience books differently.
Carefully selected books for our students were wrapped, and small hints about the book were written on them. Without knowing either the author or the name, students took the surprise books they selected just by looking at the words and borrowed them via the library system. The first creative activity of the day was about the books they read every week during the Book Review Poster Design event.
The project aims that students will discover different genres and authors and increase their reading habits. With this activity, students learn to evaluate books from a broader perspective by going beyond just focusing on the cover when choosing books.
