Laylat Al-Baraat Program

“When it is the night of the middle of Sha’ban, spend its night in prayer and observe a fast on that day. That night, Allah manifests itself in the sky upon the setting of the sun the till dawn and says, Who asks me for forgiveness, I shall forgive, who asks me for sustenance, I shall give sustenance.”

İbn Mâce, “İḳāmetü’ṣ-ṣalât”, 191

The love of Allah is the most precious treasure of a person who is qualified as a mumin and who has come to the realization of being a servant. Repentance is a source of hope for of our souls... We celebrated the Laylat al-Baraat together, which brought peace to our hearts during this difficult time for our country and nation. The Laylat al-Baraat program, prepared by the Religious Studies Department, started with the Quran Recitation. After watching the video titled Mecca Medina Year at NUN, the program continued with a speech expressing the meaning and importance of the day. The day ended with a poetry oratorio performance by our middle school students.
