ATL Workshop
Approaches to learning (ATL) are based on the belief that learning how to learn is fundamental to a student's education. IB learning approaches are unquestionably the most important thing to be acquired not only in inquiry units but also in all kinds of learning and teaching that will occur both in the classroom and in life outside of school. The five interrelated categories and their sub-skills categories support self-regulated learning for students of all ages. These five categories and their respective sub-skills encompass what a 21st century learner needs. We conduct ATL workshops to equip our nation with knowledge, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities to keep up with this rapidly changing world. The topic of this workshop was “Communication Skills”.
Through the workshop, teachers shared their plans for opportunities for developing approaches to learning within and outside the program of inquiry.
