ACADEMICIANS IN THE CLASS - THE CULTURE OF FOUNDATION - PROF. DR. TAYFUN KINDAP
Since NUN Schools is a foundation school, NUN Foundation Board Member Prof. Dr. Tayfun Kındap made a speech as a guest of the "Academicians in the Class" program in order for students to learn the meaning the culture of foundation in more detail.
In the religious studies lesson of NUN Schools 8th grade students, Prof. Dr. Tayfun Kındap elaborated on the relationship between establishing a culture of foundation with spending for the sake of Allah, helping the poor, needy and orphans, doing good within the framework of the Holy Quran and hadith.
The verses and hadiths that form the basis of the culture of foundation were explained with some examples based on true events.
Mosques, madrasahs, social complexes, soup kitchens, hospitals, Turkish baths, fountains and many others were significant works of foundation culture in the social, cultural and economic life of the Seljuk and Ottoman Empires.
At the end of the program, students understood how infaq is carried out through foundations and the importance of cooperation in our faith and culture.
