15 April World Art Day Was Celebrated In Our School!
15 April World Art Day Was Celebrated In Our School!
Within the scope of World Art Day, activities that spread throughout the school were held in our primary school. With the banner prepared by our Art Club students, they raised awareness and welcomed their friends.
During the day, our students made announcements to guide their friends to the activities that took place during the breaks. Each announcement ended with “Stay with Art!” message. A competition was held with the School Student Council for this special day. Our students interpreted an object or figure chosen from famous artworks, by using their imagination.
During the activities, which included a wooden coaster workshop and an origami workshop, our students went on a colorful art journey throughout the day.
At our Beykoz Campus, our secondary and high school students had an interactive museum experience during World Art Day. In this event, where traditional and international art branches were handled, the exhibition, which included the original works of the students themselves, also featured live performance areas. The workshops were held under the leadership of our students. At the end of this pleasant and high-quality activity, the students’ wrote their feelings and thoughts to the memory book.
In order to commemorate Mimar Sinan, a video entitled “Respect to Mimar Sinan” was presented. Detailed information about Sinan’s works and interactive hologram were shown.
On the World Art Day, there was a music concert where the repertoire was prepared with the East-West synthesis, which started with the flash mob performance of our orchestra.
