January 12 Deabate Event
The British Parliamentary System Debate Event, where NUN High School Debate and Negotiation Club students discussed the “The costs of products and services used in the treatment of cigarette, alcohol and drug addiction should be covered by the state.” and “The duty of the state is to provide education and take protective measures to prevent addiction. If the treatment stage has been reached, the person should cover the treatment costs himself.” arguments under the main title of "Addiction", was held on Thursday, January 12, 2023. 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students and their teachers were in the hall to watch the speakers, consisting of 10th and 11th grade students, in the debate based on the arguments and refutation speeches that were built on solid foundations and explained with examples in a clear and understandable language. The speakers of the "Government Closing" team, students named Musab and Bilal, got the highest score from our jury members and came first as a team. In addition, Musab was chosen as the best speaker of the debate. At the end of the debate, which was followed with interest, Debate and Negotiation Club Teacher İbrahim Üsün started the NUN High School Debate Tournament to be attended by NUN High School students and gave information about the path to be followed by the students who want to participate.
