Dining Hall
We believe in the importance of a balanced and organic diet for our students' healthy physical and mental development. Our school aims to serve this purpose by providing healthy and natural ingredients for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks to our students during school hours, dinner and evening snack services for the ones staying in dormitories.
Our food engineers and expert dietitians plan the daily meals by calculating daily nutritional needs. Our meals, which are specially prepared for our schools with fresh vegetables and reliable meats, are served by experts. In our elementary school, the kindergarten, 1, and 2nd graders are served at their tables. Beginning in third grade, students serve themselves in the dining hall.
The dining hall offers a variety of options to our students in accordance with healthy diet principles. Nutrient-dense foods are carefully selected, and the portions are determined according to the daily needs of the students. In this way, our students are supported to acquire balanced eating habits throughout their lives by having the opportunity to make healthy choices.
Our dining hall employees work diligently to ensure that healthy meals are prepared and served in a hygienic environment. The dishes are made using only Riviera olive oil or butter. Maximum attention is paid to the cleanliness of our dining hall.
Starting the day with a healthy breakfast in the dining hall, lunch is the second main meal for students. They are served snacks such as fruits and nuts.
Students residing in NÛN dormitories have the option to eat dinner and evening snacks.
We conduct activities to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy diet with high and balanced nutritional values and encourage our students to adopt healthy eating habits.
The concept of a dining hall creates an atmosphere to bring our students together and strengthen their social bonds while eating. They flourish pleasant memories and interact with each other while sharing their meals together. This contributes to the development of solidarity and social relations in our school.
