School Clubs
Students find the opportunity to join many different clubs according to their interests, come together with friends from other classes with whom they share common interests and improve their social skills. At the beginning of the academic year, students choose a club from many different club options. Students are encouraged to attend in the clubs they chose regularly. They are ensured to follow their progress with club report cards given at the end of the semester.
Sport categories are the most preferred clubs in our school. Football and volleyball clubs increase the physical activities of our students and help them become disciplined and team spirited individuals. Swimming, judo, archery, folk dances, table tennis, traditional children's games and gymnastics clubs increase our students' coordination and flexibility, while contributing to their self-confidence.
In addition, the arts and crafts clubs are among the most preferred clubs. Painting, traditional Turkish handicrafts, ceramics, marbling, caricature, candle making, wooden toy making, origami, drama and piano clubs reveal the creativity and students' self-expression and intellectual knowledge skills develop. In astronomy, agriculture and ecology clubs, our students are encouraged to explore the universe from micro to macro, which is aimed at increasing their innate sense of curiosity. In clubs such as robotic coding, chess and STEAM, our students develop their analytical thinking, communication and social skills.
Another club that our students show broad demand for is the culinary arts club, which is divided into two parts: Turkish and English. Our students make delicious recipes in the kitchen, have fun while cooking and develop their self-confidence by sharing what they do.
As a result, the clubs offered at our school cater to different interests of the students, while helping them to develop socially, culturally and academically. Through these clubs, students discover themselves, make new friends and have a pleasant time.
