NÛN Students accept love as a power that exists in the essence of every individual and strive to make the world a better place by leveraging this force. They learn to love the Creator for the sake of the creation. They know that love means multiplying good for all living things, and they live and sustain love in their actions. Love is a reflection of the ideal of growing up as a good person in NÛN Schools.
Respect
Respect begins with valuing the essence of oneself, the right to life of every living being. The NÛN Students elevate respect to the level of courtesy. They know to be respectful to other people, nature, and all living things because they are aware that one of the qualities of being human is to internalize the feeling of respect and show it in their lives. That's why they listen before they speak, understand judging, and think before acting. Respect is to accept that every living thing has a place in the world and a purpose for creation.
Decency
For a NÛN Student, decency is a trait that is "necessary even when they are alone." They are aware that manners are a one-word summary of the Qur'an. They know how to structure their speeches and behavior within the bounds of decency. They arrange their relationships with family, teachers, friends, and the universe by prioritizing decency. Decency is not just a character trait for a NÛN Student, it is central to their way of life. They make an effort to observe boundaries of decency in all their actions.
Compassion
NÛN Students should embrace compassion as one of the fundamental requirements of being a "human" and perhaps the most important one. They are aware that "one who shows mercy will be shown mercy," and compassion is one of the elements of the balance of the universe. We live in an era in which humanity needs compassion more than ever to make our lives even more meaningful. Compassion is a natural emotion. It is to value working for the well-being and goodness of all humanity and the creatures in nature for NÛN Students. NÛN Schools encourage and expect students to embody compassion, live in their personality, and develop maximum sensitivity for every living being, which is one of the most beautiful languages of communication.
In NÛN Schools, responsibility is not considered as a form of behavior but as one of the basic stones of the NÛN Students' character. NÛN Students to look at the world with the eyes of "development and improvement," to act with the awareness that he has a responsibility towards nature and the creatures within it and to be aware that they are responsible for their nation, state, and homeland. In addition, responsibility entails maximizing the potential of NÛN Students and fulfilling promises and social obligations.
