Sound, Lighting and Visual Systems Assistant Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Audio-Visual Systems
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sound, lighting, and visual systems
  • Experience in sound engineering (Tonmeister)
  • Ability to use current DMX lighting systems and digital audio consoles is a plus
  • Knowledge of audio, lighting, and visual equipment
  • Ability to manage stage setup for events (on and off-campus)
  • Ability to record audio and video
  • Ability to operate projection and display systems
  • Experience with central automation systems such as AMX, Crestron, and Cue
  • Eligible to work flexible hours
  • Prone to teamwork
  • Strong communication skills, developed planning and organization skills, solution-oriented

 Job Description:

  • Ensure the operation of sound, lighting, and visual systems for campus events
  • Perform maintenance and repairs of audio, lighting, and visual systems
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure optimal environment in conference halls
  • Record audio using recording software on campus radio stations
